I love it! I'm a big fan of wildlife and birds + documentary so this really spoke to me. Raptors are my favorite. Thank you for posting this... btw, I prefer the color image regarding the one you asked about.
Thank you. I really love color, even for urban and street, but many of my photographer friends here are almost exclusively B&W shooters, especially in street and urban architecture. thanks for your views.
Very cool. I forwarded this to my wife who is a birder, who loves raptors. Have you read any novels by CJ Box? One of the key characters is a falconer.
It was interesting to watch from here. I actually saw one at a hotel in Phoenix last December too.. (tried finding pictures, but I didn't take any). They have a full time falconer to keep the birds away from their large outdoor dining and pools areas.
fun post. i had no idea. interestingly, i was at the seaport yesterday and ate at woods hill. there was a big rabbit hanging out on the outdoor patio. also interestingly, they serve rabbit at the restaurant. maybe when you get walking you can investigate more animal activity there.
The Hawk was a one time deal, or perhaps its periodic. I noticed that a lot of rooftops have spinning reflectors now which I believe keep the birds away. It is funnay about the Rabbits here, as they have no predators.. They are all over the Seaport. Thanks for reading.
Enjoyed the photos and the accompanying story timeline. Interesting and educational. Well presented.
Rod, Thanks so much for the kind words.

Maybe a new wildlife series?
